GSAT (General Security Awareness Training) The latest DfT regulations for airport personnel General Security Awareness Training (GSAT) is a requirement of EC Regulation 2320. In the UK, GSAT applies to all applicants for, and holders, of a full pass granting unescorted access to the Restricted Zone (RZ). From 28 January 2008 applicants must provide evidence that they have successfully completed a full GSAT course; or provide evidence of 'equivalence'. By 19 January 2009 anyone who was the holder of a full pass at 28 January 2008 must have provided evidence that they have discharged the GSAT requirements or their pass will be suspended. Smart Approach has developed a GSAT course in conjunction with one of UK's largest airports. To meet the high demand for online training our GSAT course is a CBT (computer based training) course which can be taken online over the Internet or if preferred deployed via a CD Rom.
