Gwinnett
County Sheriff’s Department, Georgia, USA, became the
first customer to take delivery of the new version 4.8 of SmartSystem.
The Sheriff’s Dept. are significantly expanding staff
numbers and screening at their Lawrenceville facilities. They
have adopted SmartSystem v4.8, which will be running in a
Pay Per Use mode, that allows a significant
reduction in start up costs. Gwinnett believe they are the first
Sheriff’s department in the USA to introduce Computer
Based Training to enhance checkpoint security screener performance
through courses and x-ray interpretation training. Seen here
