| Korean Customs Service expand SmartSystem |

Having been a Smart Approach customer for over three years, the Korean Customs Service has endorsed their original decision to order SmartScreen by expanding their educational facility in Busan.
Dae Dong, Smart Approach’s Korean distributor secured the deal, and training was held in Hong Kong, following a visit to another of Smart Approach’s long standing and valued customers, AVSECO, at Hong Kong International Airport.

| Icelandic CAA prepare for new EU regulations |

The Icelandic CAA has chosen Smart Approach to set up a new mobile SmartSystem CBT classroom in preparation for training to new EU standards. With more stringent controls over passengers carrying gels and liquids, Smart Approach’s extensive threat library and ethical business approach was seen as being key to the project.

In conjunction with the CNA-Q Security Academy’s state-of-the-art
security screening lab, the SmartApproach CBT software will provide students with realistic and
comprehensive security screening training. The CNA-Q Security Academy
believes the ability of the SmartApproach software to provide instruction on multiple makes
and models of x-ray scanners combined with their pre-designed General Checkpoint Screener, ICAO,
Mailroom, and TIPS courses optimizes the academy’s ability to offer state-of-the-art
security screening training to a variety of clients

Smart Approach’s DfT qualified instructors deliver further Firearms and Explosives Detection training for Premier Prison’s Security Officers.
The blend of highly qualified instructors with high fidelity X-ray simulation, through Smart Screen, delivers a very cost efficient and effective form of training that is used throughout Premier Prisons in the UK.

| Smart Approach updates Bag Capture facilities |

Visitors to Grimsby now have the option to enhance their training experience through visiting Smart Approach’s updated X-ray capture facilities.
A number of existing customers and X-ray machine manufacturers have taken the option to gain “hands on” familiarity with the very latest training aids that can be used to reinforce the screener training experience and ensure they are familiar with the latest threat items, such as liquid explosives.
The facilities are also in demand from Smart Approach’s world-wide network of distributors to take advantage of this unique opportunity to tailor threat images for different local needs throughout the world.

| Summer “Hothouse” training courses run for advanced screener training |

A series of SmartApproach blended training courses were run for Smart Approach customers including Dubai Civil Aviation, the RAF, and CMCL Allied Security.
Run by DfT qualified instructors, attendees received comprehensive instruction in SmartSystem administration and prepared tutors to provide CBT X-ray interpretation training to screeners in their organisations.
Attendance by organisations from across the world gave attendees the opportunity to gain a further valuable insight into the structure and best practice of delivering training to comply with a variety of different regulatory frameworks.

| Installation for Turkmenistan Customs |

The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, received a SmartSystem CBT training classroom,
funded through the European Unions’ Technical Assistance for the CIS programme.
TACIS is promoting efforts to improve the capacity and skills of the Customs Service
to combat drug trafficking in the region.
The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) then funded
two additional weeks of training in checkpoint security procedures
and x-ray image interpretation for customs
officers working Ashgabat international airport and regional customs posts.

| 10 user classroom for Indian Airlines |

Marshal Marketing and Management Pvt Ltd, agents for the Indian Sub-Continent,
and Smart Approach installed a ten seat SmartSystem classroom at the
Indian Airlines Training Centre in Hyderabad. Security instructors
were provided with training for SmartSystem and the SmartCapture
utility to allow Indian Airlines to expand their own library of x-ray images.

Kudumba Investments Lda, Maputo, Mozambique, www.kudumba.com, take delivery of a
twelve seat SmartSystem CBT classroom. Kudumba have been granted a contract to
work with the Mozambique Customs Service to provide cargo and passenger screening
services at Mozambique's seaports, border crossings and at Mavalane International Airport.
Gary Mitchell has left Smart Approach to take up a position as
Training and Airport Development Manager with Kudumba Investments. Gary will retain
close ties with Smart Approach in a consultative role.
