Smart Approach Professional Services use their
wide knowledge base of subject matter expertise in the security arena,
technical knowledge of computing and experiences as teachers and
trainers to provide a range of installation, support and training.
Starting from the later stages of the sales
process, Professional Services guide customers through:
- Customising SmartSystem to best meet your training
requirements. This can be by helping you to choose training courses,
x-ray simulators, numbers and types of bag images.
- Preparing a classroom, helping you to meet the
technical hardware requirements for the software package and design
a good training environment.
- Installing the SmartSystem CBT software.
- Acquiring full knowledge of, and confidence in,
using SmartSystem through bespoke training.
- Assisting you in getting the best out of
CBT and incorporating it into your training program.
Professional Services then continue the relationship
of Smart Approach with the customer by providing a friendly face
in support for any issues arising while using SmartSystem for CBT
training of security screeners.
SmartSystem Training
 Training
for the trainers who will use SmartSystem for their own teaching
is customised according to the options purchased. We recommend accordingly
up to 5 days training for you to get the best out of SmartSystem.
Our training ensures that students are left with
complete knowledge of the system, are able to demonstrate all functions
including writing and delivering training courses, and have full
confidence in using SmartSystem.
All training material is developed and delivered
by trainers who are approved at Adult and Further Education (FENTO/Lifelong
Learning) standard in the U.K. We use a mix of instructional techniques
and methodologies, such as Lectures, Demonstrations, Practical
and Group Discussions to encourage, and ensure, a good learning
experience.
 SmartCourse is
a feature rich product and this does take time and practice to
master well. A testament to the effectiveness of training is that
students who may have little or no computer expertise are competent
authors of courses by the end of training.
SmartBag is
an additional SmartSystem feature option that enables customers
to expand their own bag library by saving images from their x-ray
machines and customise the screener training material available
to them. Customers for this option receive a full training program
to guide them through planning, capturing and administering images
in the SmartCapture component of SmartSystem.
SmartSystem Installation and Administration
Training is given to an appointed
System Administrator during the installation of the classroom.
Whenever possible the system administrator is encouraged to assist
in the set up of the system and be available throughout the training
period, which serves as a good 'on the job' learning experience.
A more in-depth installation, maintenance and support program is
available for agents of Smart Approach who wish to carry out local
first line support.

Matter Expertise and accreditations
held by Smart Approach training staff enables us to offer, in addition
to helping you design and deliver CBT, training in allied security
areas, such as: Recognition of Firearms, Explosives and Incendiary
devices; Aviation Security Management; Specialist Counter Terrorist
Search and Security Consultancy.
