the events of September 11th, 2001.
The legislation in EU countries
is based on the regulations and recommendations of the International
Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and the recommendations of the
European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).
Avia College now use SmartSystem for CBT training of security personnel
and have been actively involved with helping Smart Approach prepare
for expansion of CBT training courses in aviation cargo.
Juha Soinola, Manager
of Security Training at Avia College said this of Smart Approach
“ In Finland,
we have trained security screeners over ten years. In the past
the training has been a mixture of security screening theories
and on the job training. Now, with the help of SmartSystem
we can simulate all possible security threats that are possible
in the field of aviation. For the first time we can also review
student’s skills to recognise the threats and make right
actions. Therefore, we are proud to say that our training has
taken a huge step forward to meet future requirements. We have
found out that Smart Approach is a very flexible and reliable
partner. “
